Eastern Partnership Young Civil Society Fellows

The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Fellowships Relay event is taking place in Brussels from 9 to 11 September 2019. It brings together 60 #EaPFellows from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

The fellows will spend three days with EU policy makers and shapers, people from EU thinks tanks and civil society organisations, discussing their vision of tomorrow. The first day started with an exchange on the #EaP future with Director Lawrence Meredith, from the European Commission’s Directorate General for Neighbourhood and Accession Negotiations. This was followed by talks the impact of technology, and the future of energy.

The Civil Society Fellowships Programme is a flagship of the European Commission’s civil society support in the Eastern Partnership. It supports young CSO leaders and community activists in EaP countries in developing their leadership skills, and promoting reform and increasing public accountability.
