First EU-Jordan Business Forum in Amman

The first EU-Jordan Business Forum took place today in Amman. Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and organised by the European Union Delegation to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment of Jordan, the Forum aimed to boost economic cooperation, encourage investment opportunities, enhance trade relations between the EU and Jordan and promote the efforts being made in Jordan to enhance the investment climate. The goal is to position the country as a prime destination for European investments in the region.

The one-day Forum, gathering approximately 500 participants, brought together key stakeholders from both regions, including government officials, business leaders, investors, and industry experts. Experts and panelists analysed the main issues hindering bilateral trade and investment, and ways to overcome them. Topics included investment opportunities for EU businesses in the Jordanian and regional markets, success stories of European and Jordanian companies operating in the Kingdom, and sustainable initiatives and opportunities in green industries, digital economy and trade.
