On this International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, let us remember that behind each number is a face, a name and a story.

Women like Giulia Cecchettin in Italy, Debora Mihailova in Bulgaria, and Gisèle Pélicot in France.

They deserve shelter and support.
They deserve justice to be served.
And they deserve to be heard.

Their stories must be told.
That's how we break the silence.
That's how we will end the violence.

Today and every day, we stand with the victims.
