A TAIEX Multi-Country Workshop on Improving Business Statistics and SME Policy Monitoring in the Eastern Partners & EU Pre-Accession beneficiaries will be held in Brussels on 31 March - 01 April 2015.
The event is organised with the support of the TAIEX instrument and in co-operation with EUROSTAT, DG GROWTH and the OECD. 45 participants from Central Banks, Ministries of Economy, (SBA Coordinators and the SEE 2020 Country Coordinators) and National statistical offices will take part in the workshop.
The main purpose of this two-day technical workshop would be to discuss the availability and collection processes of different types of statistics. That will contribute to enhanced policy monitoring of both the outputs and the impacts of policies supporting competitiveness. Moreover it will contribute to fulfil the goals of the Small Business Act (SBA) Assessment and the SEE2020 monitoring.
The topics will be presented by experts from the EU Member States, the OECD and EUROSTAT.
