Stabilisation and Association Agreement with Kosovo

Last Friday 12 February, the Council adopted its decision to conclude the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community and Kosovo. The Agreement was signed last October and received the European Parliament's consent in January. The Agreement will enter into force around May. The conclusion of the SAA with Kosovo means that all countries in the Western Balkans now benefit from a Stabilisation and Association Agreement.
